Write. Do it. Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is getting started. Keep doing it and find your voice. It is important to establish a tone when writing. This prevents readers--even writers--from getting confused with the content. With a story in mind, continue digging through and critiquing your work. A huge chunk of writing is rewriting. One of the standards that every writer must adhere to is reading like it is their job. Reading develops and improves writing skills. It expands a writer’s horizons and challenges them to write more material. Picking up a book can be the same as attending a class on writing.
